High Strength Steel Plate

Since 2006, NISCO has successfully developed a series of high-strength structural steel grades such as Q550, Q690, Q890, Q960,Q1100 and etc. All these grades hold CE certificate and have stable mechanical properties, good flatness and formability, excellent weldability . These plates are widely used in mining machinery, engineering machinery and port machinery. Q690E plates were successfully developed in 2007 then set as substitution of imports and applied in an 8000-ton floating crane project. NISCO started exports of the grades such as Q690D, Q690E and S690QL to Europe and South Africa in 2008. The grades Q890 and Q960 were successfully applied in construction cranes and concrete pumps, especially these thin plates with thickness from 5mm to 10 mm
were widely appraised by domestic and overseas customers.
